In order to support those who have multiple computers running (11 in my case) throughout the house, it would be nice to have a mechanism in place that would allow to set a new SpotSpy program on a new computer with the same initial settings as those in the main computer.

DXLAB's DXLAUNCHER has a mechanism which "Saves" the REGISTRY settings such that "restoration" is but a click away.

Not sure if that is doable in SpotSpy!

What about being able to transfer from an XP machine to a new WIN 7 machine? I am not sure.

Thanks!

After importing a calendar.
If I select a callsign, but can not choose that it be a band or mode.

Because if you highlight a call in the import and select a band or mode, it changes ALL to the band and mode.

In other words.
Import a calendar, there is only a couple of callsigns I need
If I import it, it will alarm for ANY BAND/MODE

so my feature request is.
In the caledar of the needed callsign page, allow me to select a callsign and change it's band or mode.

It seems redundant to have a needed entry for each mode, for each band.

Is it possible to select multiple modes for each band.
for instance

T3X 80M SSB-CW
FT5T 10M CW-RTTY

This would make the list more manageable and quicker to enter/remove

please and thank you

I'm need many band/mode fills.
It would be nice to be able to create a File that I can work on in spare time.
And safe it something like /SpotSpy/W9OL_need.txt

So when I find that I need T3X on 40 rtty, I can add that to this base Needed file.

As new dxpeditions are announced, I can check what I need and add just those needed band/modes to this 'base' list.

Instead of downloading the full Calendar once a month and going through each entry to determine what I need.

When clicking on Config button, SpotSpy should remember its current state (running/stopped), then stopping SpotSpy if running, just before the config window is opened and then resume that state when config is closed without the need to Stop SpotSpy before running going into config mode.

Clicking Stop then config then closing config then clicking Start is cumbersome.

The well used Contest calendar at:
http://www.hornucopia.com/contestcal/weeklycont.php

Lists upcoming contests for all modes.

As many of these contests include DXCC and IOTA entries.
Maybe the ability to list these contests and create an alert of a upcoming contest which may contain a DXCC entity that is needed.

as always
pse and thank you

not sure this is possible.
I've been downloading the Dxpediton Calendars.
that's puts a lot of callsigns, dxcc, iota into the 'watch for list'.
And these will Alarm

Now I'm not sure if when downloaded, they go through the same process as a cluster spotted callsign and Spotcollector checks to see if worked, confirmed etc.

My request, if possible is, after the download of a Calendar, can SpotSpy check my log and see if those IOTA's are already confirmed, and if so, automatically remove them from the 'Needed Screen'.

I'm pretty sure that if it's in the SpotSpy 'Needed' window that it will alarm even if I already have that IOTA/RDA worked on that band/mode. But I'm not sure. I don't actively request qsl cards from IOTA operations as that would be too expensive for a retirement pension.

Hope I've made this clear.
